Biography
Lucie BÃlá is a prominent Czech mezzo-soprano who began her musical career performing with rock groups such as Rock-Automat and Arakain. Discovered by producer Petr Hannig, she released her debut single "NeposluÅ¡né tenisky" in 1985, followed by a self-titled debut album in 1986. Her discography features major works such as Missariel (1992), HvÄzdy jako hvÄzdy (1998), Jampadampa (2003), and the 2009 live recording Duety na BÃlo. Renowned for her vocal versatility, she has achieved significant commercial success, with over one million records sold. BÃlá has been awarded the prestigious Äeský slavÃk a record 21 times, including numerous "Absolute Nightingale" honors.
