Los Crudos, an American hardcore punk band from Pilsen, Chicago, Illinois, was formed in 1991 by vocalist Martin Sorrondeguy and guitarist José Casas. The band's initial releases included the demo tape Libertad (1991) and singles such as "La Rabia Nubla Nuestros Ojos..." (1993) and "Nunca Nada Cambia... A Menos Que Lo Hagamos Cambiar" (1993). Los Crudos gained attention for their politically charged lyrics, addressing issues like imperialism, racism, and economic inequality. Their debut album Viviendo Asperamente - Roughly Living was released in 1995, followed by Caniones Para Liberar Nuestras Fronteras (1996) and 1991-1995 Los Primeros Gritos (1997). The band toured extensively across the United States, Latin America, Europe, Japan, and Mexico. Notable songs include "We're That Spic Band" and "Asesinos." After disbanding in 1998, Los Crudos reunited intermittently in 2006, releasing Doble LP DiscografÃa (2015) and performing at various festivals and tours.
