Biography

Lorie Line (born 1958 in Minneapolis, Minnesota) is a pianist and composer who grew up in Reno, Nevada, began piano lessons at five, and won state competitions before earning a B.A. in Music from the University of Nevada, Reno. She launched her recording career in 1989, releasing Storyline (1990) and Sharing the Season (1991) and later volumes Heart and Soul (1995) and Lorie Line Live! (1996). In following decades she issued 60 CDs, including The Silver Album (2000), Come Together (2013), A Merry Little Christmas (2016), Rock Star (2019), and The Queens (2024), selling 6 million copies. Lorie Line earned the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2002 was inducted into Minnesota Hall of Fame in 2015.
