Kevin Lark Gibbs, known professionally as Kevin Kern, was born on December 22, 1958, in Detroit, Michigan. He is an American pianist and composer recognized for his new-age compositions. Kern began playing the piano at 18 months old and started regular lessons at four years of age. By eight, he had begun composing music. Kern released his debut album In the Enchanted Garden in 1996, followed by several other albums including Beyond The Sundial, Summer Daydreams, Embracing The Wind, and Endless Blue Sky.
