Biography

Little Bruce is an American West Coast hip hop and gangsta rap rapper from Vallejo, California. Little Bruce began a musical career in 1989, recording diss tracks during a feud with Mac Dre. In 1990, Little Bruce signed with Sick Wid It Records and performed on releases by B-Legit, E-40, and The Click. Little Bruce released the debut album XXXtra Manish on October 11, 1994, through Sick Wid It and Jive Records. The album reached number 60 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and featured the single “Mobbin' in My Old School”. Following tensions with label-mates, Little Bruce left the label in 1995. Little Bruce returned to music in 2000, releasing the studio album Give It to Me Baby!. Subsequent solo recordings include Base Rock 2 Pimp Socks (2005), The Liquid Assets Deal (2007), and Uncorrectable (2010). Little Bruce collaborated with Mac Dre on the 2003 compilation The Supa Sig Tapes, which collected material recorded between 1989 and 1991.
