Lisa Wahlandt, born on October 6, 1971 in Postmünster, Germany, is a German singer known for her work in jazz and pop music. She began her musical career as part of the guitar-vocal duo Joni und Lisa after working initially as a secretary. From 1992 to 1996, Wahlandt studied jazz singing at the Bruckner Conservatory in Linz, Austria. Her debut album, Live, was released in 1996 with the group Mind Games and featured guest trumpeter Claudio Roditi. In 2000, she collaborated with Martin Kälberer on the album Gute Nacht Lieder. Notable albums include a tribute to Marlene Dietrich titled Marlene (2003) and Stay a While (2010), which featured a cover of Prince's "Kiss". Wahlandt received the Newcomer Award from Süddeutsche Zeitung and Bayerischer Rundfunk in 2002 for her album Bossa Nova Affair with Mulo Francel.
