Eric Darnell Wright Jr. (born April 23, 1984), known professionally as Lil Eazy-E, was an American hip hop and gangsta rap artist from Compton, California. The son of rapper Eazy-E, Wright was raised by his grandmother and entered the music industry in 2003 with self-written mixtapes. He signed with Virgin Records and released the mixtapes Cali Untouchable Radio 14: Rebirth of Gangsta Rap (2006) and This Ain't a Game [Hosted by Mixtape Messiah] (2006). After declining a deal with Death Row Records in 2012 to remain with Ruthless Records, Wright became president of Rich & Ruthless Records in 2014 and co-founded Rich & Ruthless Cannabis. He appeared on the television series Growing Up Hip Hop (2018) and released the single âIt Ain't Overâ in 2021. In 2023, Wright released the collaboration album The Legacy with Daz Dillinger.
