Biography

Les Fradkin is an American rock and progressive rock MIDI guitarist, keyboardist, and producer from New York City, born in 1951. He is recognized as an original cast member of the Broadway musical Beatlemania (1977–1979), in which he performed as George Harrison. Fradkin began his professional career in 1969 after signing a songwriting contract with April-Blackwood Music. In 1970, recording as “Fearless Fradkin”, he released the solo single “Song of a Thousand Voices” on MGM/Sunflower Records. He also co-produced the single “Hippie Lady” under the pseudonym the Yummies. Between 1973 and 1985, Fradkin was a member of the group California, producing tracks including “Summer Fun Medley” and “Jeans On”. He also produced sessions for the Left Banke and ESP-Disk. His solo discography includes Reality – The Rock Opera (2003) and Baroque Rocks! (2009). Fradkin remained active in the music industry as of 2025.
