Biography

Leaf Hound, an English hard rock band, formed in 1970 from the remnants of Black Cat Bones. Vocalist Peter French joined the group after the departure of their original singer. The band's debut album, Growers of Mushroom, was recorded in a single session at Spot Studios in London and released by Decca Records in 1971. This album is noted for its blend of heavy metal, hard rock, psychedelic rock, and stoner rock influences. Leaf Hound reformed in 2004 with a new lineup featuring Luke Rayner on guitar. Their second studio album, Unleashed, was released in November 2007 to critical acclaim. In 2024, Leaf Hound released the album Once Bitten.
