Biography

Krayenzeit, a German folk rock band from Ludwigsburg, was formed in 2011 by Markus Engelfried, Joachim Lappel, and Alexander Reichert. The trio initially aimed to re-record old songs from their previous band Feanor. By the end of 2011, Christian Zoschke and Martin Daniel joined, and after completing new compositions and adding Karin Bußmann and Julia Groth as members, the project became Krayenzeit. Their debut album Auf dunklen Schwingen was released on June 19, 2015, under Oblivion/SPV. The band performed at major festivals such as Wacken Open Air and Wave-Gotik-Treffen. In 2019, Krayenzeit signed with Trisol Music Group and released their final albums: Staub und Tränen - Teil 1: Aus der Asche... (2021) and the concluding part Staub und Tränen - Teil 2: ...zurück ins Licht (2022).
