Biography
David Buskin, born December 13, 1943, in New York City, is an American singer and songwriter. He graduated from Brown University in 1965 and later attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he began writing folk-rock songs. Buskin's career took off when he sold five songs to Mary Travers for her album Morning Glory, leading to a touring partnership with her as the opening act. His first recording contract was signed with Epic Records in the early 1970s, resulting in two albums recorded in Nashville. Notable collaborations include work with Judy Collins and Tom Rush. Buskin won a Clio Award in 1983 for composing NBC's signature jingle "Just Watch Us Now". He also co-wrote "All Aboard America" for Amtrak. His discography includes albums such as David Buskin (1972) and He Used To Treat Her (1973).
