Biography
Katsunori Takahashi was born on 15â¯Decemberâ¯1964 in Yokohama, Japan, and pursued a career as a singer and actor. After early training in vocal performance, he entered the music scene with his first single "Dakishimetai" inâ¯1993, followed by "UNBALANCE" in 1995. His first album, BREATHLESS, was released in 1993, and the followâup, Bridge, followed on 21â¯Octoberâ¯1999. Katsunori Takahashi signed with WEA Japan and later Avex Trax, releasing a series of albums that charted steadily: MORE ATTITUDEâ¦LESS HANGâUPS (1â¯Octoberâ¯2003). His compilation THE BEST OF KATSUNORI TAKAHASHI 1993â2000 (18â¯Marchâ¯2000) consolidated his early work, while SINGS ~Cover Theme Songs~ (7â¯Decemberâ¯2016) showcased his versatility. Notable singles such as "TSUKIKAGE" (26â¯Februaryâ¯2003) and "Otoko no Bigaku" (6â¯Augustâ¯2003) received airplay on national radio, and his collaboration with actress Yuki Nakama on "Aishiteru" (21â¯Februaryâ¯2001) broadened his audience.
