Kailasa, an Indian fusion band by Kailash Kher that started activity in 2005. The band blends medieval Indian music with Sufi and Western influences. The band's name is derived from Mount Kailash. Initially a trio featuring Paresh Kamath on lead guitar and keyboards, Naresh Kamath on bass guitar and keyboards, and Kailash Kher on lead vocals, the group expanded to include diverse musicians. Their debut album, Kailasa, was released in 2006. Additionally, their musical inspirations can be heard through their songs, such as "Teri Deewani" and "Albela Saajan". The band's subsequent albums include Jhoomo Re (2007), Chaandan Mein (2009), Rangeele (2012), and Ishq Anokha (2016). Kailasa has performed in over 500 cities worldwide. They also performed at prestigious venues and events like the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles and the Royal Festival Hall in London.
