Jana Kirschnerová, known professionally as Jana Kirschner, and born on December 29, 1978, in Martin, Slovakia, is a singer-songwriter and musician. She began her musical journey at a young age, winning the children's singing competition Zlatá guľôčka at seven years old. In 1997, Kirschner released her debut album Jana Kirschner, which garnered critical acclaim but modest commercial success. Her breakthrough came with the 1999 release of V cudzom meste, featuring hits that dominated national charts and earned her multiple ZAI Awards, including Album and Music Artist of the Year in 1999.
