Biography

Born on September 9, 1997 in Cardiff, Welsh artist Jamie Miller kickstarted his musical career with an appearance on The Voice UK, where he came third place in 2017, initially winning over Grammy winner and soon-to-be mentor Jennifer Hudson with his audition version of "Let it Go" by James Bay. With a rich, buttery voice primed for the kind of emotive soul-pop he tends to gravitate towards, the pop bright spark has covered songs including Ed Sheeran's "Shape of You," Rihanna's "Love on the Brain," "Stitches" by Shawn Mendes and "What Do You Mean" by Justin Bieber. After relocating to Los Angeles and securing a record deal with Atlantic Records, home to megastars like Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Bruno Mars and Ed Sheeran, Jamie Miller made his major-label debut in July 2020 with his dreamy single, “City That Never Sleeps.” The track was co-written with MNEK, Noise Club and Asia Whitacre, and sees the artist paint a portrait of a lively pre-pandemic Manhattan. A follow-up single arrived later in 2020, the R&B-tinted groove of "Onto Something," and in April 2021 Jamie Miller released new single "Here's Your Perfect."
