Orlando Jahlil Tucker, known professionally as Jahlil Beats, was born on February 8, 1988, in Chester, Pennsylvania. He began producing music at age 15 with his brother Anthony. After dropping out of college in 2008, Jahlil Beats met Meek Mill, leading to a pivotal moment in his career. His breakthrough came with the production of "Ima Boss" for Meek Mill in 2011, which was later recognized by Complex as one of the best instrumentals between 2008 and 2013. Following this success, Jahlil Beats signed a publishing deal with Roc Nation on October 16, 2011. He collaborated extensively with high-profile artists such as Jay-Z, 50 Cent, Rihanna, and J. Cole. Notable releases include the instrumental mixtapes Legend Era (2012) and Crack Music 7 (2014). Jahlil Beats is also known for producing "Jackpot" by Lloyd Banks, which was famously used in Bobby Shmurda's "Hot Nigga."
