Jacobâs Trouble, an American Christian rock band formed in Atlanta in 1988, initially featured Jerry Davison on drums and lead vocals, Mark Blackburn on guitar and lead vocals, and Steve Atwell on bass. They released their debut EP Jacob's Trouble independently in 1988, followed by the full-length album Door into Summer, produced by Terry Taylor in August 1989. The band gained attention with their second album, Knock Breathe Shine, released in August 1990, which included the controversial song "About Sex" and its replacement "About Sex, Part 2". In 1991, Ron Cochran on drums and Keith Johnston on guitar joined the band. Their third album, ...let the Truth Run Wild!, was released in March 1992 with producer Mark Heard. The self-titled fourth album, Jacob's Trouble, was released in May 1993 and marked their final studio release before disbanding.
