Biography

Born in England in 1997, Jacob Slater got his start in rock with the punk-influenced band Dead Pretties, before forming the quartet Wunderhorse in 2020, of which he is lead singer and guitarist. Based in Newquay, Cornwall, Wunderhorse released the album Cub in 2022, while Jacob Slater was hired by director Danny Boyle to play Sex Pistols drummer Paul Cook in the TV series Pistol. Following this, Jacob Slater embarked on a solo career with the album Pinky, I Love You, released in August 2023, featuring the title track "Kissin' Booth". The singer-songwriter did not abandon his bandmates, however, and took part in the recording of Wunderhorse's second album, Midas, released a year later.
