Infinite Mass, a Swedish hip-hop group formed in 1991, gained early recognition after winning the Swedish Championship of Rap talent show in 1992. The group, consisting of core members Amir Chamdin, Rodrigo "Rigo" Pencheff, and Bechir Eklund, released their debut single âShoot the Racistâ (later renamed âArea Turns Redâ), which sparked media controversy due to its lyrics. Their breakthrough came in 1995 with chart hits like âMah Boyzâ, âArea Turns Redâ, and âRideâ. The group won a Grammis Award for best club/dance song that year. Infinite Mass released several albums, including The Infinite Patio (1995), Alwayz Somethang (1997), The Face (2001), and 1991 (2004). Notable songs from these albums include âSheâs A Freakâ, âBulletâ, âBlazinâ, and âEnter The Dragonâ. In 2004, their song âNo 1 Svartskalleâ became a hit. The group's characteristic sound blended G-funk bass with heavy guitars, rapping, singing, and unusual samples.
