Biography
In Battle was a Swedish metal band from Sundsvall, formed in 1996. The original lineup included John Frölén on guitar and bass, John Odhinn Sandin as vocalist, HÃ¥kan Sjödin on guitar and bass, and Otto Wiklund on drums. Their debut album, In Battle, was released by Napalm Records in 1997. The bandâs second album, The Rage of the Northmen, followed in 1998. By 1999, Frölén was the sole remaining member, and he began writing new material for a third album. In 2007, the band released their fourth album, Kingdom of Fear, under Nocturnal Art Productions. The groupâs style blended elements of black metal and viking metal, with lyrics often drawing from Norse mythology and themes of war.
