Biography
Defecation is a British deathgrind side project formed in 1987 by Righteous Pigs guitarist Mitch Harris and then-Napalm Death drummer Mick Harris. In 1989, they released their debut album Purity Dilution through Nuclear Blast, which was produced by Danny Lilker. In 1990, Mitch Harris joined Napalm Death, leading to contractual complications for Defecation's second album Intention Surpassed. Despite being written, the album could not be released due to label constraints until August 2003, when it finally saw release on Nuclear Blast.
