Jilian Medford, known professionally as Ian Sweet, is an American indie rock musician from Los Angeles, California. Her debut album Shapeshifter was released in 2016 via Hardly Art and garnered significant attention, being listed at number 33 on Stereogum's "50 Best Albums of 2016" and earning Ian Sweet a spot as one of the site's best new bands of that year. In 2018, Medford released her second full-length album Crush Crusher, also through Hardly Art, which received a 3.5/5 rating from Rolling Stone. Her third album, Show Me How You Disappear, was released on March 5, 2021 via Polyvinyl.
