Biography

Horse Jumper of Love is an American indie rock band from Boston, Massachusetts. The band was formed in 2013 by Dimitri Giannopoulos on guitar and lead vocals, John Margaris on bass and backing vocals, and Jamie Vadala-Doran on drums and percussion. Horse Jumper of Love released their self-titled debut album Horse Jumper of Love in 2016 through Gawk Records, Disposable America, and Joy Void. The single "Ugly Brunette" from this album premiered on Stereogum and was featured on NPR Musicâs series Songs We Missed. In April 2019, they announced their second studio album, So Divine, which was released on June 28, 2019 through Run for Cover Records. This album included the single "Poison". Following So Divine, Horse Jumper of Love released a demo anthology featuring previously unreleased tracks and demos. Their third studio album, Natural Part, was released in 2022, expanding their auditory directions, and was followed by Heartbreak Rules in 2023.
