Biography

Harms & Kapelle is a German band from Hamburg, formed in 2012 by Chris Harms, frontman of Lord of the Lost, along with co-producer Benjamin Lawrenz and studio drummer Tobias Mertens. Other members include co-songwriter Corvin Bahn and guitarist Thilo Weging from the rock n’ roll band Pfeffer. Their music blended country, folk, and rockabilly elements with dark-wave and rock influences, drawing comparisons to artists like Johnny Cash, Nick Cave, and Amy Macdonald. Harms & Kapelle's debut album Meilenstein was released on February 28, 2014, via Out of Line. The album featured the single "Nach uns die Sinn Flut" and included collaborations with Der Schulz from Unzucht and Caspar Le Compte from Coppelius.
