Biography
Soulbound is a German metal band, founded in 2009 in Bielefeld. The band's music is mainly in the genres of alternative metal, nu metal and metalcore. The band consists of singer Johannes "Johnny" Stecker, guitarist Felix Klemisch, keyboardist Patrick Winzler, bassist Jonas Langer and drummer Mario Krause. In 2016, the band released their debut album Towards the Sun via Deafground Records, followed by further albums such as Myllennium (2016), Addicted to Hell (2020) and obsYdian (2024). The latter album achieved its first chart entry in Germany at number 12. The band's well-known songs include "Break Away", "Welcome to the Dawn" and "Addicted to Hell". The members of Soulbound also define their musical style as 'We don't give a Fuck Metal', a self-created subgenre term that underlines their unconventional approach.
