Hare Squead, an Irish rap duo from Dublin, was formed in 2013 by singer Jessy Rose and rappers Tony Konstone and Lilo Blues. The group gained initial traction with their first single "If I Ask" in 2016, which led to their signing with Columbia Records. That same year, they supported Nas and Joey Bada$$ on tour and released their debut EP Supernormal. In 2017, Jessy Rose left the group due to mental health reasons, leading Konstone and Blues to move to London as a duo. They released the single "100 Miles" in 2019 and were featured in a live social media broadcast with London Mayoral candidate Rory Stewart. The duo continued to release music, including the EP Superweird in 2020.
