Happy Clappers were a British house studio project from the United Kingdom active between 1995 and 1997. The group consisted of Chris Scott, Graeme Ripley, Martin Knotts, and Mark Topham, with Sandra Edwards on vocals. Their debut recording was the single âI Believeâ (1995), which reached number 7 on the UK Singles Chart upon its second re-release. Subsequent recordings include the singles âHold Onâ (1995), which reached number 27, âCan't Help Itâ (1996), which reached number 18, and âNever Againâ (1996), which reached number 49. The ensemble released the album Games (1997), which failed to achieve chart success. A remix of âI Believeâ by American producer Chris Cox (2002) reached Number 1 on the US Club Play chart. The project became inactive in 1997.
