Hallo Venray, a rock band from the Hague in the Netherlands, was founded in 1985 by Henk Koorn and Toon Moerland. Their debut album You Donât Hit a Guy With Glasses On was released in 1989, followed by King in 1990. The band's breakthrough came with their third album, The More I Laugh, the Hornier Due Gets! (1992), which received significant airplay on Dutch national radio stations and led to extensive touring. Subsequent albums like A Million Planes to Fly (1993) and Merry-Go-Round (1995) further solidified their presence in the Dutch rock scene. After a period of reduced activity, the band returned in 2000 with Iâm Not A Senseless Person, At Least I Donât Want To Be. They signed with Excelsior Recordings in 2003 and released Vegetables & Fruit (2005) and Leather On My Soul (2008).
