Gustavo Barreira Lins, known as Gustavo Lins, was born in 1986, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He is a Brazilian vocalist who began his musical journey at the age of nine when he started playing guitar autodidactically. By twelve, he formed the Pagode band "Demais da Conta" with friends, which later disbanded. At fourteen, Lins wrote and composed âPra ser Felizâ, a song that became one of the most played in Brazil by 2003. With the help of his uncle, he signed with Warner Music at sixteen to release his debut album Prá ser feliz (2003). His subsequent releases include Gustavo Lins (2004), Ao Vivo (2005), and Gustavo Lins - Vida Real (2008). Gustavo Barreira Lins is also known for composing songs for notable artists such as Alcione, Belo, and Exaltasamba.
