Biography
Gauntlet Hair was an American indie rock and noise pop duo from Denver, Colorado, formed in 2009. The group consisted of Craig Nice and Andy Rauworth, who had performed together since high school. After relocating from Chicago to Lafayette and finally to Denver, the duo released two extended plays before signing with Dead Oceans in 2011. Their self-titled debut album, Gauntlet Hair, was released on October 18, 2011, and received mixed to positive reviews. The band's sophomore record, Stills, followed on July 16, 2013, featuring the single âHuman Natureâ, which was featured in the television series Shameless. On August 12, 2013, Nice and Rauworth announced their disbandment via social media. In 2018, the pair started a new musical project named Cindygod and released their first EP, Demos, in December of that year.
