Biography

Lifehouse are an American alternative rock band from Los Angeles whose recordings with a religious leaning have become hits in their homeland. Their 2001 debut album 'No Name Face' went to number six on the Billboard 200, 'Stanley Climbfall' (2002) topped Billboard's Christian Albums Chart and reached number seven on the 200, 'Lifehouse' (2005) peaked at number ten on the 200, 'Who We Are' (2007) went to number five on the Top Rock Albums Chart and number 14 on the 200, 'Smoke & Mirrors' (2010) reached number two on the Rock Chart and number six on the 200, 'Almeria' (2012) peaked at number 12 on the Rock Chart and 'Out of the Wasteland' (2015) went to number three. The single 'Hanging By a Moment' (2001) went to number two on the Billboard Hot 100 and 'You and Me' (2005) topped Billboard's Adult Contemporary Chart, reached number five on the Hot 100 and number 13 on the Hot Christian Songs Chart. 'Whatever it Takes' (2008) went to number ten on the Adult Contemporary Chart and 'Between the Raindrops' (2012) featuring Natasha Bedingfield placed at number 46 on the Hot Rock Songs Chart. They released a 'Greatest Hits' album in 2017.
