Biography

Winter Hours was an American alternative rock band from Lyndhurst, New Jersey, formed in 1983 as an evolution of a short-lived group named Ward 8. The band released two albums and four EPs, including the notable track "Smoke Rings" (1989), which peaked at number 12 on Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks chart. Throughout their career, Winter Hours toured extensively before disbanding in 1991.
