Biography

Freeform Five was formed in England in 1997 by DJ, producer, and composer Anu Pillai, joined by Cabba Forster Jones, Nick Decosemo, and Tamara Barnett‑Herrin, and quickly gained attention through remix work for artists such as NERD, Brian Wilson, and The Killers. Their early releases included the single "No More Conversations" in 2007, following earlier single "Perspex Sex" in 2011, and the 2004 the studio album Strangest Things. The group released several remix compilations, including Misch Masch (2005) and Bisous Bisous II (2008), and maintained a presence on the UK Singles Chart with "Eeeeaaooww" reaching Number 86 and "No More Conversations" peaking at Number 77. Freeform Five’s work contributed to the electronic music scene through charting singles, remixes, and collaborations with notable artists, solidifying their role in the mid‑2000s electronic landscape.
