Francis Bernier, born September 5, 1997 in Saint-Rédempteur, Lévis, Quebec, Canada, is a French-Canadian singer. Bernier's father recognized his son's singing talent when he was just four and encouraged him to participate in local competitions. In May 2005, at the age of seven, Bernier gained wider recognition by appearing on the television show L'école des fans on TVA. Following this, he was selected from among 200 children to record a Christmas album titled Les fans chantent Noël. The subsequent holiday special featuring a duet between Bernier and Céline Dion drew over 2.6 million viewers, boosting his popularity. In September 2007, Bernier released his debut solo album Prince d'azur, which included the duet "Prince d'azur" with French singer-songwriter Serge Lama.
