Natalie Choquette, a Canadian soprano born in Tokyo, Japan, in 1959, began her musical journey at age 15 with vocal training under André-Paul Bourret. After completing her studies at the Université de Montréal and Collège Marie de France, she joined the chorus of the Opéra de Montréal. Her breakthrough came when composer Reynald Arsenault wrote an "Alléluia" specifically for her. In June 1992, she participated in the opening of the Musée d'art contemporain de Montréal, showcasing her versatility with a mix of popular and classical music. Choquette released several albums, including Ãterna (2004), Terra Mia (2008), and Terra Bella (2009). She is also known for her television appearances, including La Diva et le Maestro with the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal and Charles Dutoit in 2002. Choquette has been recognized as a Chevalier of the Ordre national du Québec and is the author of the children's book series Sur un air d'opéra.
