Biography

Composer of ambient electronic music and founder of the Quiet Details label, Alex Gold is better known as Fields We Found. Musician, sound engineer and visual artist, he develops minimalist and sometimes dark musical atmospheres from field recordings, magnetic tape and analog synthesizers, creating loops of varying lengths. In addition to his activities with the Quiet Details label, his productions for other artists and his curatorial work, he has recorded several albums, including Thanks (2021), Expanse (2022), Paths (2023), In Your Hands (2025) and Thoughts Persist (2026).
