Ernie Haase, born Raymond Ernest "Ernie" Haase III on December 12, 1964 in Evansville, Indiana, is an American Southern gospel singer and songwriter. He joined The Cathedrals Quartet as their tenor vocalist in April 1990, remaining with the group until their retirement in 1999. After The Cathedrals retired, Haase pursued a solo career and performed with the Old Friends Quartet from 2001 to 2003. The group has received multiple Grammy nominations for Best Roots Gospel Album, including one for Something Beautiful, an homage to the Bill and Gloria Gaither song.
