Biography
Engelina is a Danish singer and songwriter who was born as Engelina Andrina Larsen in Bornholm, Denmark, in 1978. She achieved professional recognition in 2001 with the release of the track âI See Right Through to Youâ and is famous for providing the vocals for that single, which reached Number 1 in Denmark, and for her prolific career as a songwriter. The track served as the theme for the first season of Big Brother Denmark. Larsen joined the pop trio Sha Li Mar in 2002, which released the eponymous studio recording Sha Li Mar (2002). Her discography includes the collaborative studio recording with DJ Encore, Intuition (2002), which reached number 7 on the Danish charts. As a songwriter, she co-wrote the Kylie Minogue track âLike a Drugâ (2007) and has authored songs for artists including Medina, Eric Saade, and Basshunter. She is also a co-founder of the record label Slick.Boutique.
