Born in Queens, New York on April 27, 1962, Robin Stone â better known as Robin S. â is synonymous with her debut breakout single, âShow Me Loveâ, which became a worldwide diva-house anthem. Originally released in 1990 by the UKâs Champion Records, the track was remixed by Sten Hallström, aka Swedish house DJ and producer StoneBridge in 1993, and re-released in other countries including the US and Japan. In 1993, âShow Me Loveâ peaked at Number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100, at Number 1 on the Hot Dance Club Songs chart, and at Number 6 on the UKâs Official Singles Chart. The track was featured on Stone's debut eponymous album that contained four singles, including the popular âLuv 4 Luvâ and âWhat I Do Bestâ. Robin was voted Best Dance Artist at the Billboard Awards in 1993 and a follow-up album, From Now On, was released in 1997, featuring production assistance from the likes of Eric "E-Smoove" Miller and Todd Terry. Throughout the 2000s and 2010s, she continued to record and release singles, including 2016âs collaboration with DJ Escape, "Shout It Loud", which reached Number 1 on the US dance chart. In 2020, Robin S released the single âAll That I Gotâ with Todd Terry.
