Biography

The Captain Hollywood Project are a German electronic music and Eurodance group founded in Nuremberg and steered by Tony Harrison, who was born on 9 August 1962 in Newark, New Jersey. The group first gained prominence with the release of "More and More" in July 1992, which became an international hit. Subsequent singles like "Only With You" further solidified their success. Their debut album Love Is Not Sex, released in March 1993, included notable tracks such as "All I Want" and "Impossible". Captain Hollywood Project's second album, Animals or Human, was released in March 1995. The album's lack of commercial success sparked the departure of Nina Gerhard, who was replaced by Petra Spiegel. The third album, The Afterparty, was released under the name Captain Hollywood in November 1996. Throughout their career, the project has worked with various artists, including Kim Sanders, Lori Glori, and Nina Gerhard. In later years, Tony Harrison focused on production work, notably collaborating with O-Town. In 2003, he returned to Germany, establishing Skreem Records and contributing to the success of "Axel F" feat. Captain Hollywood. In 2018, the Captain Hollywood Project released a new version of their hit "More & More 3000".
