El Club de los Poetas Violentos, also known as CPV, is a Spanish rap group from Madrid. Formed in 1993 by El Meswy, Kamikaze, Mr. Rango, Paco King, Supernafamacho, DJ Jota Mayúscula, and Frank T, the group gained initial traction with their first professional release, Madrid, zona bruta, in 1994. This album is noted for its raw, unmanipulated sound and antiracist messages. In 1996, they released the maxi-single ¡Y ahora ké, eh?, followed by the album La saga continúa 24/7 in 1997. Their subsequent album, Grandes planes, was released in 1998. After remaining inactive for ten years, the group reunited for several concerts starting in 2009 and released the album Siempre in 2012. Their work was recognized by various publications, with Grandes planes being included in Rockdelux's list of the best one hundred Spanish albums of the twentieth century.
