Egma were a Dutch electronic ensemble from Eindhoven established in 1991. The group was founded by the musicians Marcel Theunissen and Ege van Kruysdijk and consisted of the musicians Michael Robby, Margo Smulders, and Henk van de Wiel. The ensemble name was a contraction of the first two letters of the founders' first names. They achieved professional recognition for a musical style characterized as Eurodance, dance-pop, and Europop. Their recording career began with the track "Let the Bass Kick" (1991). The ensemble achieved professional recognition for joining the Eurodance movement and the track "Never Gonna Loose Your Love" (1993) which reached number 49 in the Netherlands. Van de Wiel was replaced as the male vocalist by Robby (1994). Their discography included the track "Love Is..." (1994) which reached number 42 in France and the track "Make My Day" (1995). The ensemble achieved professional recognition for the track "Tell It to My Heart" (1996). Their recording career included the track "Let the Bass Kick 2002" (2002). Egma became inactive after 2002. Van de Wiel is deceased.
