EF, a Swedish post-rock band formed in Gothenburg, was established in 2003 with founding members Niklas Ã
ström, Thomas Torsson, Daniel Juline and Mikael HillergÃ¥rd. The group debuted with the album Give Me Beauty⦠Or Give Me Death! on their own label And The Sound Records, followed by I Am Responsible in 2008 and Mourning Golden Morning in 2010, which included vinyl releases through Kapitän Platte. After bassist Mikael HillergÃ¥rd departed in 2008 and with the addition of drummer Emanuel Olsson and guitarist Erik Jardestig as full members by 2011, the trio issued the EP Delusions of Grandeur on Pelagic Records. The 2013 LP Ceremonies featured the track âDelusions of Grandeurâ and prompted extensive touring across Europe, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. A 2016 split EP, VÄyu, was released with Israeli band Tiny Fingers, after which Daniel Juline left the band. EF continued to perform and eventually released the 2022 album We Salute You, You and You!
