Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, known as Ebony Reigns, and born on February 16, 1997, in Kumasi, Ghana, was a singer. She began her music career after being discovered by Bullet from Ruff n Smooth and signed to his RuffTown Records label. Her debut single "Dancefloor" (2015) gained significant radio play. In March 2016, she released her breakthrough hit "Kupe". Ebony Reigns' subsequent hits included "Sponsor" and "Hustle" . Her debut album Bonyfied was released in 2017. Ebony Reigns became the first Ghanaian female musician to win Artiste of the Year Award at the Ghana Music Awards in 2018. Tragically, she died in a car accident on February 8, 2018, just days before her 21st birthday and one day prior to her scheduled music tour in Europe.
