Biography
Dennis Nana Dwamena, born 18â¯Augustâ¯1993 in Accra, is a Ghanaian singer, songwriter, guitarist and pianist who performs as KiDi. After studying at the University of Ghana, he won the 2015 MTN Hitmaker competition and signed with Lynx Entertainment. His breakthrough came with the 2017 single "Say You Love Me" and the chartâtopper "Odo", later remixed with Davido and Mayorkun. KiDi released the EP Blue in 2020 and the studio album The Golden Boy in 2021, which won the Vodafone Ghana Music Award for Album of the Year and featured the single "Touch It". Subsequent singles include "Blessed" (2022) and "I Lied" (2023). He has collaborated with artists such as MzVee, Adina and KoâJo Cue and performed internationally, earning multiple award nominations and wins. In 2025, KiDi released the single "Gymnastic", followed in 2026 by "Babylon", which reached number 40 on Billboard's Afrobeats Songs chart.
