Oluwatobi Wande Ojosipe, born October 18, 1985, in Lagos, Lagos State, Nigeria, emerged as a singer, songwriter, and rapper known for his afrobeats sound. He first gained attention with the 2016 single "Who You Epp", which set the stage for his growing presence in the Nigerian music scene. He released his debut album Legend or No Legend on May 17, 2023, featuring the hit "Ebelebe". He followed with the album KING COAL on June 26, 2026, adding singles such as "DEARLY" (February 13, 2026) and "Oshe" with Wizkid (June 26, 2026). Earlier tracks, including "Spend Some Time" (May 21, 2019), "Again" (February 5, 2020), and "Follow My Lead" (December 11, 2020), helped cement his position in the afrobeats genre. Wande Coal has collaborated with top Nigerian acts, toured domestically and internationally, and earned chart success across Africa, with several singles topping local charts and earning nominations at major Nigerian music awards.
