Biography
Earthsuit was a Christian rock band from New Orleans, formed in 1995 by Adam LaClave and Paul Meany. Their initial performances at Café Joel helped cultivate their unique sound and introduced them to future band members David Rumsey and Roy Mitchell. In 1997, they released their self-titled EP, followed by Noise for Your Eyes in 1998. Earthsuit gained attention after performing at the Cornerstone Festival in 1999, leading to a record deal with Sparrow Records. Their debut album, Kaleidoscope Superior, was released in 2000 and received positive reviews and a Dove Award nomination. The band toured extensively before leaving Sparrow Records due to creative differences. They released their final album, The Rise of Modern Simulation, independently in 2003 before disbanding.
