Dust Bolt is a thrash metal band from Germany that was founded in 2007. The formation emerged from the former school band Die Letzten. The band consists of Lenny Breuss or "Lenny Bruce", vocals and guitar, Flo Dehn, guitar, Tom Liebing, bass and Nico Remann, drums. Musically, Dust Bolt plays old-school thrash metal with role models such as Slayer and Kreator. The band's energy is particularly evident live. Early on, Dust Bolt performed with metal greats such as Sepultura and Napalm Death. Their demo Possession received the "Demo of the Month" award from Metal Hammer magazine in 2010. In 2012, Dust Bolt released their debut album Violent Demolition. Numerous concerts and festival appearances delight metal fans and increase the band's popularity. Further albums followed with Awake the Riot (2014) and Mass Confusion (2016). Three years later, Trapped in Chaos made its first chart entry in Germany at number 96. This is followed by a short break. At the beginning of 2024, Dust Bolt returned with their fifth studio album Sound & Fury. The album climbs to number 17 in the German charts.
