Biography

Exmortus, an American thrash metal band, was formed in Whittier, California in 2002. Their early releases included the demos Dawn of Apocalypse (2003) and Onward to Battle (2004). Exmortus released their debut album, In Hatred's Flame, in July 2008. The band incorporated elements of progressive, death, and neo-classical metal into their sound, with lyrics often focusing on battles and war. Notable songs include "Entombed with the Pharaohs" (2011) and "Immortality Made Flesh" (2014). Exmortus continued to release albums such as Ride Forth (2016) and Necrophony (2023). Throughout their career, the band has seen several lineup changes, with Jadran "Conan" Gonzalez serving as a consistent member on guitars and lead vocals.
