Biography

Skeletonwitch is an American thrash metal band from Athens, Ohio, formed in 2003. The group consists of lead guitarist Nate Garnette, rhythm guitarist Scott Hedrick, bassist Evan Linger, and vocalist Adam Clemans. Their debut album, At One with the Shadows (2004), appeared through Shredded Records. After signing with Prosthetic Records, they released their second album, Beyond the Permafrost (2007). Skeletonwitch performed on Danzig's Blackest of the Black tour in 2008 and appeared on all dates of Ozzfest 2010. Their third studio album, Breathing the Fire (2009), debuted at number 151 on the Billboard 200 charts. Notable recordings include the song “Soul Thrashing Black Sorcery” (2009), which featured in the video game Brütal Legend. Clemans joined the band in 2016, replacing original vocalist Chance Garnette. Discography releases include the albums Forever Abomination (2011), Serpents Unleashed (2013), and Devouring Radiant Light (2018).
